We make it easy for groups of young people to experience one of the most remote regions of Africa. Through interaction with the local communities our guests come home with broadened horizons and a new confidence in what they are capable of.

We are able to tailor make an itinerary for a perfect school and gap year trip including projects in the following sectors:
 

• Helping teach in primary schools
• Organising school sports and music events
• Working on an aids awareness campaign & visiting a remote village to deliver the message
• Helping with construction work at a local school or hospital
• Learning eco-construction while improving the research centre
• Camping trips to the Selous Game Reserve buffer zone
• Day trips to visit the hippo pools, mangrove forests and ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani
• Basic Kiswahili lessons
   



All our trips include the following:



• All transport organised by experienced safari logistics company using either 
  local transport or private hire safari vehicles.
• All accommodation at community camp site or at biological research station
• Catering & facilities provided by Upepo Pwani Lodge 
• UK and Tanzania based support and back up
• UK based GP available on certain trips by request
