Kilwa Camping
Having run an overland company for many years the owners know what people want in a campsite and have provided this at Kilwa Beach Lodge.
Our camp site is in a designated area with separations for small or large groups. The ground is regularly raked so no problems with stones or roots in your back. We also provide a covered cooking area, whilst toilets and showers are shared with the main camp. Tent hire is also available.
A lot of travellers are now passing through Kilwa as the road network has seriously improved both in southern Tanzania and northern Mozambique. This has opened up a new Cape to Cairo overland route and over the next few years we expect more visitors travelling from south Africa to make this route popular.
