Community Support through KIYODEA
As well as offering a variety of different options of day trips within Kilwa District, we are also pleased to announce our association with KIYODEA.
This Tanzanian NGO has been working with us for the last few years in AIDS Awareness educational programs throughout the district.
We have now sponsored the construction of a biological research station on Masoko Pwani. This is now being marketed in the US and Europe as a destination for undergraduate and postgraduate students to attend and complete scientific courses.
With strong university links within Tanzania and a British environmentalist managing the project we see this will be a success, providing an income for KIYODEA to continue their work.
Through KIYODEA we are also able to help arrange voluntary work at local schools and hospitals allowing our guests to give something back to the community.
